Holding the conference at the Sun Valley Resort assures us the continued world class hospitality during a time of year that sleeping room rates are lower and spring is still and option. Sun Valley also offers the casual elegance associated with this meeting.
The IAPA CME Committee is excited to invite you to join us at the 2008 Sun Valley Conference. We are addressing numerous newsworthy topics including MRSA, pediatric obesity and updates on common pediatric behavioral disorders. Many of these topics affect us as providers despite our various specialties. The conference will provide you with valuable information to take back and apply to your practice and
patients immediately.
We have invited Kim Stanger, J.D., back this year due to popular demand, to talk further on working with difficult patients and terminating relationships, in addition
to contract issues that you may face with your employers. The agenda also includes handling drug seeking patients, the difficulties with addiction and updates with
treating sleeping disorders- all topics that are challenging to treat as a provider.
We have also included a very exciting lecture addressing pre and post combat issues, which will include video of actual on the ground treatment and life as a a slideshow of real combat medicine. Our Veterans are dispersed into the community across the state; this will allow participants to better address specific issues related
to our veteran patients. There are many more exciting topics and updates included
this year on the agenda. We hope you can join us.
